Capture Screen and Save Draft in SocialScope

Yesterday I saw some people in my timeline asking about how to capture screen in SocialScope application. As we know, when we’re running SocialScope, there is no option to capture screen on its menu. So, here’s the trick if you don’t know yet.

  1. For the first step, you have to install an application to your BlackBerry first. One of the famous applications is “Capture It”. If you don’t have it yet, install it right from your BlackBerry. Just click this away —> Download “Capture It”. It’s only 13.1KB. Very small sized yet helpful application.
  2. If you have already installed “Capture It”. Go to BlackBerry “Options”. Choose “Screen/Keyboard” menu.
  3. Set “Left Side Convenience Key Opens” as “Capture It”.

  4. Here’s the final step. Then in the future, you just need to click away the left convenience key to capture your screen everywhere, especially in SocialScope.

Oh ya, I wanna share you how to save tweet as a draft in SocialScope. It’s very easy. Herewith I capture the steps.

  1. Compose a tweet as usual.

  2. Press the “Escape” key on your BlackBerry keypad, then “Save” tweet as draft.
  3. If your tweet is already saved, press “Menu” key on your BlackBerry keypad to “View Drafts”.
  4. Your saved tweet. You can edit or delete it here.

That’s it. Hope it helps.

What about using the BB torch where you have only one convenience key and would love it to be Camera? :(

Replace your Torch to Onyx. :P *Kidding.
No more options for this. You gotta change the only convenience key to Capture It.
Or change it only when you need it. :)
